Ken Runion has worked to improve town resident’s quality of life.

During his tenure as Town Supervisor he has:

*  Adopted a new Master Plan including Hamlet neighborhood plans and implemented neighborhood improvements
*  Expanded youth sports and park programs at Western Turnpike Golf Course, DiCaprio Soccer Fields, Tawasentha Park & the new Babe Ruth field
*  Spearheaded sound zoning and planning practices, as well as stricter enforcement of local zoning laws
*  Upgraded and improved the town’s sanitary sewage treatment system
*  Upgraded and improved the town’s water treatment plant
*  Brought public water to those in need in the west end of town
*  Worked with Albany County to preserve French’s Mill Road bridge for walking traffic
*  Added miles of walking and hiking trails at Tawasentha Park linking over 600 acres of park land
